Job Description:

  • Ideal opportunity for a true HR generalist or an individual who wishes to explore various aspects of Human Resource Management in more depth

  • Human Resources Associate to work in all aspects of Human Resources at the College, including recruitment and selection, employee/labor relations, compensation and benefits, professional and organizational development and HRIS.

  • Examples of duties include: working with hiring managers and search committees; talent sourcing, onboarding of new employees; design and delivery of staff development programs; and preparing reports and analyses from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Information Warehouse.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public

  • Administration or closely related field.

  • Three years of Human Resources experience in a professional capacity.

  • Excellent listening and customer service skills, tact and diplomacy.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Ability to integrate and analyze information; strong attention to detail.

  • Adaptable, flexible, team-oriented; able to deal with frequent interruptions and multiple priorities.

  • Microsoft Office skills including proficiency with Excel and Access database; experience with

  • HRIS systems.


  • Experience in a unionized environment

  • Work experience in higher education

Additional Information:

SALARY RANGE: $58,000.00-$63,000.00

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
