Job Description:


Adjunct Instructor is needed to teach in the Computer Information Technology Department for the C-Town Tech Program


Instructor needed to teach CIT-113 IT Problem Solving at Charlestown High School for the C-Town Tech Program. C-Town Tech prepares students for college and careers in information technology and related fields?with students earning transferable college credit starting in 9th grade. The instructor will co-teach with Charlestown High School faculty in a collaborative learning environment. Instructor and high school faculty will plan curriculum and assessments. They will also work together to monitor student progress and plan appropriate interventions that support student progress.


Requirements:




  • Master's Degree in Computer Information Technology or related field


  • Availability to teach during the day time (between 8:30 and 3:00, specific class time to be determined)


  • Availability to teach at Charlestown High School (240 Medford St, Charlestown, MA)


  • High school and college teaching experience preferred


  • Proven ability to work with diverse faculty, staff and student population



QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE INVITED TO ATTEND THE ADJUNCT ACADEMY PRIOR TO BEING ASSIGNED COURSES.


Additional Information:


Salary: 1,066.00 per credit hour


Effective Date: Fall semester, 2018; open until filled

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
